These are spells used in all of the movies combined...
Alohamora - opens locked doors. Used 2 times to open a door and used 1 time unsuccessfully.
Alarte Ascendare - Tosses snake into the air. (used during demonstration in class "against the dark arts")
Arania Exumai - Kills spiders.
Arresto Momento - stopped Harry's fall from the sky.
Avada Cadavara - kills. This is the worst spell.

Bombarda - opens a lock (used when breaking Sirius out of jail)
Bombarda Maxima – breaks a wall
Brakium Emendo - Supposed to fix broken bones. Was unsuccessful. Instead, turned Harry's broken arm (caused by the bludger) into jelly. Used by the teacher who was a big pompous fraud.
Cistem Apario - Opens a box.
Crucio - one of the unforgivable curses which is supposed to cause someone excruciating pain. (Notable: when Harry attempted to use this curse on Bellatrix when she had just killed his Godfather she fell to the floor and began laughing because he didn't have it in his heart to hurt people so the curse didn't work.)

Diagon Alley - directs the floo powder. Used floo powder to travel via the chimney to go shopping and said "Diagon Alley" to set destination. Harry mispronounced it and said, "Diagonally" and went…diagonally.
Eat Slugs - supposed to make you puke slugs. Ron said it to mean, evil Draco who was saying hurtful things to Hermione. Ron's wand was broken so it backfired on him and he was the one puking slugs. It was quite disgusting.
Expecto Patronum – for protection against Dementor. This spell is used against the Dementors who attack you by sucking out every happy memory you ever had. The "patronum" is conjured when you focus on your happiest memory. "Expecto" means "expect" and "patronum" means "the protector". "Expect the protector" sends away the evil creatures that want to suck all your happy memories out and in the end suck out your soul.
Expelliarmus – disarms someone with a weapon

Everte Statum - Knocks a person over.
Finite -
Finete Incantarem - caused a "bludger" to explode. Harry was playing quittich and was being pursued by a rogue "bludger" which is a heavy ball almost like a cannon ball. It was attempting to do him serious damage and so someone said it to stop the bludger.
Harmonia Nectare Passas -
I solemnly swear I am up to no good - causes the "Marauder's Map" to reveal itself. (The Marauder's Map is a map of Hogwarts which will show footprints of where anyone is in the school.)
Immobilus - Immobilized the mischievous Cornish Pixies. Said by Hermione.
Ingorgio - makes something get large
Imperio -
Impedimenta – stops something or slows it down
Incarcerous – ties up someone
Lumos - turns on wand like a flashlight.
Levicorpus – levitates someone
Lumus Solem - causes sunshine. Approaching the climax of the movie the threesome are in pursuit of the bad guy and get hung up in what appears to be vines or roots. It is a plant they identify as "Devil's Snare". Hermione realizes that the only thing that the Devil's Snare can't tolerate is sunlight. So, she casts the spell of sunlight to defeat the Devil's Snare and Ron is freed.
Mischief Managed - causes the footprints on the Marauder's Map to hide so that it looks like a normal map.

Nox - turns off light on wand
Oculus Repairus - fixed broken glasses. Used by Hermione on Harry's taped-together-glasses on the train to show Harry and Ron that she knew a spell.
Oculus Reparo - Hermione fixes Harry's glasses again and the spell is a little different.
Obliviate - Removes memories. Used by the "fraud" teacher to try to wipe away the boys' memories from knowing he's a fraud. He uses Ron's broken wand and ends up being the one with the lost memory. Also used by Hermione when she's heading out for the big battle when she erases herself from her parents' memories. Very sad moment.
Oppugno -
Peskipipsi Pesternomi - was supposed to stop Cornish Pixies from doing mischief. Was unsuccessful
Petrificus Totalus - "freeze". The night that the threesome was attempting to get out of the house at night (which was prohibited) one of their friends attempted to stop them. Because of the gravity of their need to get out that night, they used this spell against their housemate which made him fall over "frozen" onto the floor.
Priori Incantem
Protego – protects against someone trying to get in Harry’s mind
Periculum -
Riddikulus - turns what you fear into something funny. Used by the kids during class in the "defense of the dark arts". Learning how to defend themselves against their greatest fears.
Reducto – makes something go back
Rictusempra - Flips/tosses a person over.
Sectum Sempra -
Serpensortia - Throws (repels) a snake (which is attacking someone)
Stop - Ron tries to use his wand to stop the car he is driving. Is unsuccessful.
Sherbet Lemon - said by teacher as a password to open staircase.
Stupefy – stuns someone
Vipera Evanesca - Makes a snake disappear
Vera Verto - turns animals into water goblets. Not sure what use that is. Used by the kids in school in class.
Vulnera Sanentur -
Wingardium Leviosa - levitates things. This was first shown when the kids were in class. A teacher was showing them how to levitate a feather. It was later used when one of the teachers who was working for the main bad-guy in the movie unleashed a troll into the school. It went into the bathroom where Hermione was alone. Harry and Ron showed up and attempted to battle the troll (which was about 15 feet tall). It had a club and was attempting to beat Harry with is when Ron took out his wand and tried his newly-learned spell and said, "Wingardium leviosa!" and the troll's club levitated above his head then fell on his head knocking him out and saving the day.
